SYNOPSIS

D’ENÇÀ (which translates as From There but is also a play on words as it sounds like “to dance” in Catalan) is a shared dance, an opening, an accord in space and time that invites us to continue caring for our movements and how we encounter one another. The proposal seeks to create a poetic and contemplative environment, offering glimpses of possible ways of living and moving.

In a dance that gradually unfolds throughout the piece, new cosmologies of unison and explosion open up. Being in unison enables us to understand movement as a meeting place, where we can feel affected and accompany each other by listening and paying attention.

In an almost installation-like space, D’ENÇÀ proposes an ongoing dance that is promiscuous and in continuous transformation. It is a movement we can create together, one that can open up worlds, create spaces of our own and make cracks appear that are suspended in time.
